What is an MSD?

TMS (Transport Management System) is transport management software dedicated to planning, executing and optimizing all logistics operations.

There are TMSs for carriers, forwarders and shippers. Shiptify is a TMS for shippers.



Is it possible to open several disputes on the same transport file?

No. Only one dispute can be opened per transport file, to ensure clear, structured follow-up.

Is dispute management also available in ShiptiDock?

In ShiptiDock, it is not possible to manage transport disputes as such, but you can report and track incidents linked to your dock appointments.

For example: carrier delays, no-shows, access problems or dock errors. These incidents enable you to document and share information with the right people to quickly resolve operational problems.

Formal disputes concerning your shipments (damage, loss, non-conformity) remain managed in the Shiptify TMS, where each file is structured and tracked with your carriers.

Do disputes have an impact on transport invoicing?

No. The value of the dispute is not included in transport invoicing, which means that financial flows and claims management are clearly dissociated.
