The Operations Manager will plan, direct and coordinate operations in the B2C Europe France facility. You will be responsible for all daily operations related activities. You will oversee the different production lines, makes sure the daily processing deadlines are met by the operations teams and makes sure that the supply chain operates on a highly efficient level. You will also be responsible for the transport, pick-up, distribution and Operations Support.
MAIN TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES
Ensure that all operational processes are conducted in a correct, cost effective and timely manner. You are the first point of contact for suppliers and indirectly for customers.
Planning and improving the operational system, processes and procedures to ensure warehouse security and efficiency and improve performance, productivity, efficiency and profitability through the implementation of effective methods and strategies.
Contribute towards the achievement of company’s strategic and operational objectives. To do this you will have to work closely with internal and external stakeholders.
Perform quality controls and monitor production KPI’s.
Recruit, train, supervise and appraise human resources. Manage the Team Leaders and other direct staff directly.
Management of the company’s health and safety obligations.
SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE
Ability to effectively communicate with all levels within the company/Group
Leadership and organizational skills
Experience with Lean; preferably Green Belt
Fluent in English
EDUCATIONS & EXPERIENCE - >2 years work experience as operations manager
Familiarity with the business, financial principles, KPI’s and best practices.
Budget development and oversight experience
Experience in distribution and Transport
Bachelor degree in operations management or related field
